Light red and rose color. Immediate nose with aromas of boysenberry and tawny port. The tannins are a bit dry and unrefined and the wine finishes with aromas of root vegetables (not unpleasant) such as red beets and swede.

Low to medium acidity and tannins as well. Dark and you'd think heavy but really pretty smooth. A good wine but not the best of the night (wine tasting).
