Young, rough. Even after decanting still didn't smooth out.

I like it, but something is holding me back from giving it high marks.

After opening a second bottle, I’m still happy with this Malbec, but it’s still not a favorite. Just an aftertaste that doesn’t sit well. Not bad, just not wonderful.

Smooth maybe with hints of sweetness (but not over powering)

Fruity, a bit jammy. Very easy to drink and delicious.

Youthful as is evident by extreme watery meniscus...spiced out blackberry extravaganza for 2016 enjoyment...but a beautiful, well rounded wine one can drink after splash decanting and volitalizing for a few swirls...great from the start in a way that a minor grape can rise to new elevations (pun intended). Subtle tannins...like a good french cab or merlot.
