Soooo much potential. Way too young and a little bit numb at the moment but hints of those complex old mouvèdre scents are just starting to develop. Not her greatest year but still far from its peak. Keep for at least another 10-12 years before opening. Glad I have quite a few cases of this in hibernation.

Cébène's top wine; mostly old vine maurvèdre. Somewhat closed at the moment so my rating is quite reserved. Delicious but will hopefully (/is likely to) improve significantly with 5-6 years ageing.

On nose, smoked black plum comes to mind. On the palate, the black fruits with medium + acidity to bright things up with waves of spice that comes from oak treatment, leaving sour cherry finish that is persisting. Very festive but not my favorite
