One of the prettiest examples of Corbières I've ever tasted -- 80% (Super) Old Vine Carignan / 20% Grenache

Nose: high level of complexity here: rich fruit bouquet (black cherries, black currant, cooked plums, figs, hint of raisins), hint of nice oak (12 months in barrel) without overdoing – hints of cooked herbs.
Palate: fine, elegant tannins, cherries liquor, black fruit, ripe plums, good acidity and freshness. Excellent mediterranean flavours, still retaining elegance. Great value for money!
