Chaupin Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

Murky ruby. Transparent. Gamey nose. Notes of plum, earth, white pepper, herbs. Big and masculine in the mouth, but mellowed with air time. Very CdP-ish showing the full power of Rhone varietals.

This wine is beautiful. Elegant, yet rich. Kirsch, herbs and a nice savory finish. This is how I like Grenache.

Lovely balanced rich and long great depth

Beautiful aging on this wine. Looks like a burgundy in the glass w less brick hue that I would guess. Total cigar box, tobacco and book leather. Earthy and lean . Tons of sediment.
