Richebourg Pinot Noir

Classic DRC. Stems and violet and huge purity. Intense and long. This is really something, but so light and focused Wow

Big and bold on the nose with oodles of sweet cherries, kirsch, blackberries, violets, smokey notes, Asian spices, and a hidden green stem like influence. A mid bodied pinot with layers of flavors, sweet cherries and blackberries one entry with a sappy midpalate with hints of orange peel, and roasted meats that linger into the long lasting finish filled with velvety tannins, ferrous minerality, complex smokey notes and sweet spices. Very rich, ripe, the elegance is quite staggering along with the balance, amazing spicy notes and textures.

Beef jerky and Lapsang Souchong! A meal in a bottle. (2 DRCs in 1 week!)

Showed very well.

Ripe red and dark red berry fruit. Brown spice galore with a long textured finish. Has a sweet fruit quality.

I think these wines are shitting down a bit

2000 DRC Richebourg. Ordered off the menu at The I. Lunch w B&K K. Young. Decanted for a short while but immediately drinkable. Loved it.
