This is a subtle thrill. Gorgeous aromatics and a palate to match, it has neither the power of the Beze nor the backbone of the liger belair, but it will probably outlive both. Such is the magic of wine. I desperately hope to have another bottle in a couple of decades, but it was great to enjoy a bottle in its youth. Like listening to an early Mozart symphony, it's not where it will be, but it's thrilling nonetheless!

Fucking amazing. Subtlety personified. A zen koan on Burgundy that goes on forever. Dark berry fruit, herbs, soft and elegant and sooooo long. Magical. The kind of wine you wish you could sit alone with to contemplate.
