Domaine de la Solitude - Famille Lancon Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc 2018: Full-bodied with great depth and complexity. Consisting of 40% Clairette, 30% Grenache Blanc & 30% Roussanne, this Rhône white blend is simply out of this world! Rich tropical fruits on the nose and fresh, vivid flavors of lemon, honey, apricot & peach on the palate. Let’s not forget about the great creamy texture! All in all, this is an outstanding balanced wine with an unforgettable long finish. A perfect companion to this wonderful meal of baked halibut, grilled asparagus & a tiny filet. Great day to all! Cheers🍷

Oct 7th, 2021Subtle minerality with the pear and peach and citrusy notes—/blend of wines that I have not been familiar with—- clairette 40%, Grenache blanc 30% and Rousanne 30%... 2018 vintage in January 2020. If I had another bottle or two, I think it should be quite good for a few more years at least
