My first pineau d'aunis and I'm impressed. Murky in the glass, hot tar and baking spices on the nose. Flavors of beef, blood and black cherry. Syrah like but bouncier and more tart.

Revisiting a recent favorite. Showing beautifully after a few hours' air. Black cherries, mulling spices. Moderate acid and lingering finish. Gorgeous Pineau d'Aunis.
