Great find by Mr Mahoney. Awaiting our meal but the wine is a pleasant departure from all the Bordeaux consumed this week.

nice acidity and tartness. plums. chocolate. vanilla. earth. bark. buy again.

Medium bodied with lush tannins and some acidity. Cherries and tart berry, some tea, cocoa. From Flatiron Wines.

Homework

Très typique de la Syrah, ce vin mélange épices et fruits rouges. C'est une belle image du Pic Saint Loup, bien que j'en aie déjà goûté des plus concentrés.
