Pretty Provence nose. Structured palate with strawberries, herbs, mineral, a bit of salami fat, dusty tannin. Great sleek texture and long finish with hints of citrus. This is a softer Bandol rosé but still has that structure and verve. It'll open up in a few months but this isn't Pradeaux structure (whole bunch fermentation as opposed to just the fruit for l'Olivette).

this baby is tightly wound at the moment (i suspect this is old school, barrel fermented style Bandol rosé, but cannot find info) and will likely unfurl in 8-12 months. right now it's all structure and intensity, showing some subdued floral notes, and a touch of cream. reminds me of Terrebrune's rosé. #bandol #rosé
