Cuvée Émilie Hermitage Red Rhone Blend

The nose is dark and brooding with plum, blackberry, clove, fig, cured meat, black pepper, and wet autumn leaves. Dense and powerful on the palate, but a bit off balance - quite jammy bordering on syrupy. Slightly disappointed.
