Domaine Drouhin
Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Mushroom, forest floor, tart cherry, white strawberry and juniper berry. Not what I was expecting, but interesting none the less. Still a huge Drouhin fan

Beautiful well balanced Willamette Pinot Noir.
Nov 15th, 2012Medium+ viscosity, dark ruby/orange with white at rim. Bright cherries, cough drops, vanilla, orange peel, white flowers. Very light in the mouth with tart cherries, raspberries, medium acid, some tannins, medium+ finish length of moderate complexity. Drinking well but getting to the thin side and lacking more of the inorganic/darker notes, could be due to age. Drink now- still great!
