Checking in on this village gevrey & the 14 vintage. 14’s are all kind of watered down from late hail and rain. This should be opened in the next couple years & cost $30 -$40 not $90 dollars.

Moderately saturated medium red. Complex nose melds strawberry, flowers, game and mocha. Deeper than the Morey-Saint-Denis Clos Solon; brisk, salty and concentrated, offering considerable personality and sex appeal. This very sappy village wine shows excellent clarity and length, finishing with harmonious tannins. (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2017)

Crazy good and a mere baby. I almost feel bad about drinking it, almost. Won't touch again for 5 years at least.

Lovely, sooo pure boysenberry fruit. Can’t get much better than this at the village level. A few bottles into the case and in a really nice spot - no need to hold back from drinking the rest as at its peak.
