Described to me as a gateway Burgundy for Cali pinot drinkers. Except it tastes like Cali. All fruit and nothing else. This isn't opening doors for anyone.

Spicy, fruity cherry to finish. Needs time to open up and only got better

Black cherry, red currant, blackberry, very elegant fruit character that's restrained. The mouthfeel is polished with bright acidity and medium tannins. The barrel character is leathery and cedary but is gracefully integrated in the experience. Nice minerality in the finish. Really good.
