Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru Pinot Noir

Knock out. Needed an hour or so to come around but it got there and is absolutely singing. In no hurry though. Another 10 years will do wonders.

More structured than the Vogue. Tons of fine ground spice and dark berry fruit. Elegant while still letting its power known.

Beauty off vintage BM. This is in a great spot already. Not a tremendous amount of stuffing but very classic.

Still young. Secondary aromas have started to develop. Beautiful forest floor, dusty tannins, mushrooms, cherry, unripe BlackBerry.

Why why why Delilah? A wee babe sent off to war. Not the best expression I've had but still so young.meh.. dark deep friut and savoury spice but just a tad green. Such is life

Roumier Dinner with 13 vintages going back to 95. My favorite was the 99 followed by the 05 then the 02, 10 and 95

Tight as a drum but got better as the night wore on. Definitely didn't show the ripeness of 2006. Would have guessed 2001 if asked. But still textbook Roumier.
