Black fruit, star anise and Chinese five spice, a little bit of stewed prune and touch of dried apricot or orange peel. Once it got air, it all rounded out and tannins integrated w the alcohol which initially felt separate and hot-- it almost felt like the whole thing plumped up. Excellent w wild boar sausage flat bread.
