Domaine Jean-Louis Chave
Mon Coeur Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend
CDR from the master. Dark cherry, blackberry, boysenberry, plum, liquorice, granite, tea leaf and even a touch of Brett. Medium tannins that actually built given some air in the glass and medium acidity. Length could take or leave.

Jul 25th, 20182015 vintage - deep and dark syrah/grenache blend. Great on the nose with dark fruit (think currant & smoky blackberry) with a taste to match. Appearance is lovely and the finish has a fair earthy or minerality note that doesn't overstay it's welcome. Drank on its own (after a decent meal) while listening to a Nat King Cole record
