Always such a gorgeous wine and now with 3 vintages under his belt Julien is really getting the hang of this site. Nose is so floral. Stunning. Mid to late season cherry that is so clear. Really nice lipstick like intensity and even some black cherry. Nose is a knockout. Like a 9.6. Ahh that palate. So pure. so velvety, so sweet but also sour, earthy and tart. Love that complexity and array that Julien does so well. Big tannins but ripe and sleek but substantial. Terrific sweetness and amplitude here. Terrific freshness and energy and just unreal depth. Chalky tannins and just so well made. Great wine.
