This label cracks me up every single time馃槂
Violet, cherry, iron, earth. A firework of a nose and no trace of any barnyard funk lately which is good improvement on the same bottles opened one year ago. The palate is well balanced with a crazy fruit, violet exploding here and there, a strong acid frame and some matter, c么te du Rh么ne style. Gentle tannins kick off a very playful finish with violet and cherry and a lot of fun. This wine is made out of grapes grown 10 miles from the house I grew up in near toulouse and it's always a win! (pun intended)

This bottle shows a really bright side today. Close to no funk upon opening : a bright violet, some red and black forest fruits, a bit of red pepper, iron, black pepper too. The palate is well balanced with a strong acid backbone and black and red forest fruits on the sides. A bit of tannins in the rear for a kick before a closing with fruits and some nice bitterness. The finish gives an impression of climbing back on the palate, this is quite a physical experience, it litteraly comes back up.

Edit : it gets 0,1 point more because I haven't tasted it in this state and form for a very long time. Gotta love it!

At first a funky funky funky funky (yeah 4 times) nose. Then iron, violet, and pepper. The palate is an acid bomb, a bit unbalanced but getting back to its feet in the end. Pepper, red and black fruits and violet as a tracker. The finish is quick and playful. Pepper, violet and some bitterness. A 7 eur bomb. So glad to have the family house seated 8 miles away from the winery.
