Excellent Alsace Pinot Noir, reminiscent of a good Burgundy, sourced from a single plot in Orschwihr, near the Pfingstberg Grand Cru. Whole cluster fermentation. Aged in used oak barriques for one year and bottled unfiltered. Quite expressive nose. Red fruit, strawberry jam, gunpowder, some floral (violets) and oaky notes. Richer, more complex and more serious than their entry-level Les Jardins.
