Clos des Ducs Monopole Volnay 1er Cru Pinot Noir

On a night where almost everything underperformed, this!! I've had this once before and for the off vintage it is, this is an overperformer.

This beauty was the blinder on the Nebbiolo table and holy lord did it steal the show. So special.

Pale ruby with brown highlights, wet leaves shrooms, and dried flowers. Bright sour cherry earth, citrus peel, caramel. Phenomenal
