Oriental fruit and fresh apple on the nose. Very floral showing some orange blossom, and a lees-y roundness. However acid dominates the palate as well as a sting minerality. Apple and lemon undergirded by earthy funk!

What happens when one of Burgundy’s top producers (the Marquis d’Angerville) buys land in the Jura and goes all-in on making wine there? In a word, Deliciousness. This is one of the early efforts (2nd vintage), which, frankly was a bit shrill in its youth. But it is mellowing into beautifully floral and crunchy red berries and herbs with just a touch of caramel at this point in its evolution. I have a few more bottles of this vintage and look forward to watching it evolve further. A blend of Pinot Noir, Trousseau, and Poulsard.

A lot like burgundy, but a little more rustic. A good wine, but not fantastic. Wish more from this region was readily available.

Perfect for lovers of Cru Burgundy... Cherry/raspberry fruit along with classic Jura earthiness on the palate. Powerful acidity but drinking great now. Spicy, floral, and fruity this wine does it all! Can't wait to try again in 3-5 years!

Light burgundy color. Unripe red berry & damp earth funky nose. Tart berry, mushroom, acidic unripe strawberry finish. Interesting.

This is what happens when the king of Volnay goes to Jura and knocks it out of the park with a blend of three grapes. Great bottle! If you haven't tried d'Angerville's take on Jura, go and try it now.

Black currant bud aromas with cherry and very slight reduction. Light bodied and crisp on the palate. Lovely with food; more linear than broad textured. Enjoyed this @ Miminashi.
