Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Great nose. Maple sugar and cinnamon sugar cashews. A nice entry level representation of entry level burg. Slightly extracted but not overly so. Still struts nice acidity and earthy notes to balance the fruit. Definitely more secondary notes than normal west coast fruit bomb pinots.

First date this was lightweight and disappointing. But after 3 days it blossomed. Ruby red. Med to dArk fruit. Good structure for Bourgogne. Just enough acidity.

Held onto this 07 just a bit too long, but Meo Camuzet is like pizza.

2004 vintage. Has never come around for me. Thin and disjointed.

One of the nicest Bourgogne wines I have had....fresh raspberry with slight truffle, yes truffle at a Bourgogne level! And good amount of weight for this level and approachable tannins.

First of the second flight with our main meal, I got small hints of meat, very drinkable. 2011

This got lost in the line-up of six wines at first but climbed up the ladder during the evening.

Take about an hour to blow off funk. Then was beautiful

Love it. Sweet seduction. Bright strawberry hue.
