A 1990, graciously shared at Craft Wine & Beer's fifth anniversary party. Smells musty, like a dusty attic, or maybe even like a Kriek, yeasty and lively and full of sour cherries. Pours very cloudy with a light strawberry color. Lots of dead leaves and sous bois on the palate, joined by pepper, warm spice, cranberry, and citrus rind . Old and refined, certainly worth the wait and opener just at the crest of its aging potential!
