Muted nose at first, took time to open up and it did so very nicely on red fruits, soft spices and a touch of an earthy feel. The palate follows the same trend, fairly closed and then started to blossom with that gorgeous and energetic red fruit, nice acidity, almost mineral, with tannins that have a nice texture on the palate, the delicious finish is of medium length. A very nice and typical red Chassagne that could have benefited of a little more time in the cellar.
