Predominantly Grenache (50-60 years old) supported by Syrah, Mourvedre, and Cinsault. Elegant and floral aromas meet with scents of blackberry, dark cherry, framed by just enough oak spice (apparently this didn't see any new oak at all). The palate is round, and smooth. Tannin is substantial but not chewy in any way. Strawberry, raspberry, violet, blueberry. Long finish. Good wine to drink now or cellar another 7-10 years for its secondary characters. 90+
