Good tannins in nose. Grape, vanilla, blueberry. Nice subtle berry and leather on tongue. Solid.

BBQee, meaty, with light fruit in nose. Wood initially, backs off quick, nice blueberry, tannins are there and wide, but aren't overpowering. Nice Malbec.

Sep 15th, 2015Fun new fact of the night: the tannat grape, used in this truly phenomenal Malbec blend, is one of only 3 varietals of grape that has an actual red fruit on the inside. This particular tannat grape is grown at 7000 feet (unlike the usual 2000-3000) making it intense and vibrant and truly delicious!
