Pretty acidic and unusual for a red wine, but then again, a red Txakoli doesn't cross your path very often. Kind of like a thin merlot that still hits you in the back of the palate.

Just had a very nice red Txakoli at Bar Ferdinand in Philly for the first time & was recommended another one at David Bouley's Brushstroke in NYC... While both were very good, I liked this one a little more for its depth & complexity...and it went well with the duck dish we were having... 👉🍴🍷👍
