Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Lemongrass, hot nose. Juniper berry attack, herbaceous mid palate. Briny finish.

2022 - pretty decent all around. No complaints. Lower acidity than the previous Sancerre, wider legs, emptier body, don’t really have a ton of flavor info

Drank at cinepolis, sold me on it being better than amc

Citrus, grapefruit

I don’t usually like Sav Blanc’s because they are too grapefruity or acidic. Had Duckhorn with a flight of other Sav Blancs and they wouldn’t tell us which wines were which until the end of the tasting. Our group all enjoyed the Duckhorn the most. Many of the women in our group prefer Kim Crawford but didn’t choose it as their top during the blinded flight tasting. They chose Duckhorn. It was smooth, crisp, not too bitter and not too sweet. Very easy drink. Great, easy drink. We were all surprised by our final top pick. 

Good wine once it breathed a bit.

Ample freshness and brightness which makes me think of grapefruit and light honey.

Bright, floral, peachy and crisp.
