Almacenista Pata de Gallina Oloroso Palomino Fino

An all time favorite, full of walnut depth, fabulous complexity and length. I think I have impacted the world supply of this great oloroso!

These are just fabulous wines.

Deep bench of flavor on a wine like this. Nuts, wax, toffee, coffee. Even better with notoriously hard-to-pair food like cauliflower or asparagus.

2021/8. This is initially very rich and luxurious, with caramel, dried and candies fruits and spice. Over days rancio note become slightly more evident. Wonderful as always.

2021/4. Intensely and rich, with lot of raisins, brandied fruit, and walnuts - but also a wonderful balancing acidity to keep things bright. Just a hint of rancio on the finish.

2020 fall. Deliciously rich, with walnut and dried fruits, but bracingly dry, with a refreshing bit of astringency

Fortified. No flor. Oxidative.

The dessert sherry filled with nutty, dry flavour. Great finish to Keith's sherry cellar

Raw nuts, plantain, toffee and sea salt. Nice way to end a meal.
