Pretty Horses California Tempranillo Graciano

Better than I expected, but still a little too jammy for my personal tastes, and I feel the varietal characteristics of Tempranillo are lost here.

Lighter than a feather for an earthier wine, will totally tempt your palate with dark berries and dryness for the win. Order it and profit.

With barely a touch of air, all those earthy mineral flavors come rushing into the palate.

I tasted this bottle 1 and 2 years ago and can say this has evolved nicely with life ahead. It is fuller and more palette-coating than I recall. This time I drank it over 1.5 hours open and it kept positively evolving and blossoming. At the end: Large aromas of succulent red fruit, graphite, and a trace of cracked black pepper. Palette is very tannin forward with med acidity and notes of red fruits, mineral, and a little something green.

Opened up after an hour or so and the rubbing alcohol taste wore off. Not much fruit, dry, and tannic.

Some nice minerality and bright fruit going on here. Nice juice

Really enjoying this lighter weight, red fruited Tempranillo. Very tasty alone or with food, and ready to go on pop-and-pour. I'm going to have to place another order.
