Fun to see these two together, from two producers I admire. Years of life ahead and, to be honest, while its pleasurable, I have popped it to young, as it has such wonderful structure.

Earthy nose. Robust spice on the palate. Bright fruit...raspberry, gooseberries, cranberries. Lively acid. Pretty garnet color that was dense, but not to heavy. I think this could and should lay down another year or so.

2013-a bit young, unremarkable; easy to drink. OK but would not buy.

Less focused and elegant than the other pinot offerings. I find it too sharp and acidic for my liking. All smoke without depth.
