2009: deep colour, and very powerful nose of black fruit, meaty, leather and bonfire smoke. Big masculine style. Full bodied for PN, but resolved tannin and acidity means this is a big softie. Black cherry, hints of liquorice, cloves, smoky oak and quite meaty. Great with veal, roast duck.
