May 4th, 2016Had this in the wine rack without any idea of the vintner or value. I usually search for wines here first before opening. I was shocked at the complexity and couldn't believe it was a Pino Noir. What a lovely surprise to experience on a Monday night with grilled meats and vegetables. I hope to make this last another few days. I can't stop thinking "wow". Beautiful, dried fruit and floral nose, wonderful, thin, and plentiful legs, velvet on the tongue, a complex, sweet oaky flavor mixed with dried fruit, spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger?) and a finish that just makes you long for more. Exquisite. I've never had a Pino quite like this...
