Sep 20th, 2014Deep blackberry, with lavender & Vietnamese Cinnamon. Incredible velvety plate. Truly a joy, especially for this varietal.

Dec 3rd, 2016This is the 2010. Bright fruit and sweet spices on the nose. PalTe is full and sweet with very slightly rustic tannins. Plum, black cherry, wet black earth, and hot stones come through. Finish is long and sweet. Nicely balanced.

May 22nd, 2015Very rare to have 100% petit Verdot. Really nice and different -- lots of fruit, but not "forward".

Feb 21st, 2014Deep, opaque, brooding, and fantastic. Think petite sirah with elegance and balance. Nose is beautiful if not terribly intense... black fruit, rose hips, violet and some wet earth. Palate has intense blackberry and sweet plums showing just a bit of dried fruit, plus clean spice and toast. Tannins are fine, well-integrated, sweet, and well-integrated in this mouthcoating wine. The wine is youthful and shows great potential to mature nicely. Acidity is medium and very well balanced with all the fruit. Finish is long and very pleasant. I'm looking forward to drinking these bottles over the next ten or fifteen years. (9 views)
