A surprising oaky component, which blew off with some air. Translucent, but with a coarse tannic bite. Red fruited and herbal. Interesting stuff.

Hard to imagine a better wine with mesquite smoked ribs. Fruit and feral and meat and palate refreshing acidity. And a touch of that peach thing all these Cali Mourvedres get, which really seals the deal.

A gift from the producer and it’s a delicious bottle. The nose is quite fruity but the wine is more earthy, with acid and grip.

Sweet, tannic, and smooth! Delicious!

Excellent food companion-Tannins are present but not overbearing-lots of layers to this wine
