Retailer responded in kind, but the bottle just showed up anyway; hot to the touch and seeping. Opened it much sooner than I would have since I (rightly) assumed it was cooked. Only bad bottle of Chidaine I've had and it was not Francois' fault.

Rich gold color; nose is of honeyed apples. In the mouth good acid and rich fruit. Alcohol is a little prominent in this vintage at this time in its evolution. Very fine Chenin blanc drinking beautifully at this time. Will not hold much longer.

Au nez une odeur de poire! Rond en bouche, tres peu d'aciditer et moyennement sucré. Tres bon blanc et bu avec des pâtes au fruit de mer sauce béchamel.
