1959 Moelleux 1er Trie: caramel, creme caramel, Madeira cake, bread pudding, dried apricots. Burnt orange. Wonderful richness, balanced acidity, like an aged Tokaji in style. Lovely.

Honeycombe, treacle, rich orange marmalade, furniture polish, medicinal touches of iodine, quince jelly, smoky, peaty. Rich but not cloying and overall balanced and fresh. Super ripe tropical fruits, spices pineapple and mango, butterscotch and apple skin.
