The strawberries are secondary to the fresh cut distilled grass notes. Licorice in the back on the finish. A feminine sancerre this is not, very masculine, like Burt Reynolds...but without the cowboy hat. Great lip smackin' lemon acidity.

This is actually just the Pinot Noir (not Rosé). Refreshing to try the Loire's (with Boulay's assistance, of course) expression of the grape. Would love to try this one again in a few years. The Sauvignon Blanc is up next!

Stellar rosé. Great body, stands up to spicy tomato-based soup. Salty, mineral depth. Almost sticky mouthfeel.
