This is such an incredibly good Pinot noir - starting to get a touch of brick in the rim, it has pronounced aroma of cherry, violet, dried rose petal, orange zest, black cherry, wild strawberries, forest floor, and wild thyme (an unexpected garrigue-like note). Great finesse and elegance with the acidity giving a lean edge to the flavors and a terrifically long finish. A real tour de force of skill in the cellar. It will be good for another few years but drinking really well right now.

This wine is aging beautifully with a bit of garnet in the color and wonderful aromas of crushed strawberries, forest floor, violet, dried orange peel and a touch of barnyard funk. Good acidity, medium body and perfect With food
