This wine is very versatile when it comes to pairing with food. Just enough fruitiness, just enough tannins and acidity not to over power.
Earthy, berries and violets on the nose. Great mouth feel with cherries, berries and herbs with an energetic freshness on the finish.
We had Japanese food with this wine .....katsu curry. Think plump schnitzel with mild Japanese curry on top.
