Burnished red copper in colour. A natural orange wine fermented on skins in clay amphorae in Friuli. An eclectic white blend of Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc Pinot Grigio and Riesling fermented separately and aged together. Oxidative notes. On the palate very textural and full bodied with Quince and dried Apricot notes. Quite tannic for a white wine. Amazing intensity of flavour - probably too much. A challenging wine and to be honest an acquired taste. I have one left from 2006 which I will have in a few years.
