Morandina Valpolicella Corvina Blend

Fresh strawberry, pink grapefruit pith, blood orange, white pepper. Straight-forward, al fresco style that is great served slightly chilled. Screams for charcuterie and fresh caprese.

tastes like when you first get to a summer bbq and there’s smoke in the yard and the grass is squishy, green peppers and skipping stones. Color was a beautiful light red/magenta. Early summer at its finest.

Lip smacking strawberry and cherry. Tobacco; chalk. Light bodied, chilled, and beautiful. Great birthday wine

Light, fruity, spicy.

Bright and refreshing sporting a sour cherry note with chalky minerality. None of the richness you would expect from Valpolicella. Taste like a good Gamay with a bit more power.

Cherry bark, spice bomb.

Cherry strawberry candy on the nose. Juicy red fruit. White pepper. Slightly hot. Yummy on its own.

Haven’t had Valpollicella in a while and this was a pleasant surprise. Light color and medium (-) bodied. Nice chilled. Young and tart, like @aisforalan. Juicy, ripe red berries, fresh flowers, some basil and bell pepper. Good acids, light tannins. From Flatiron Wines.
