Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Star bright straw yellow. Inviting nose of green apple and balsam. Echoed on the medium light palate with citrus rind and a stony minerality. Juicy acidity and a moderate rindy finish (used French oak). Classic California Fumé Blanc style SB with an elegance that’s to be expected from a producer like Groth. Enjoy with salads, seafood, or as I am, KFC. Drink now through 2024.

Enjoyed with pan seared salmon ($20)

Served this with grilled swordfish ($20). Not the best accompaniment at 14.4% alcohol. Perhaps I would have enjoyed it more with a spicy meal.

really enjoyable wine. very easy drinking, light yet flavorful

It was too sweet for my taste, but wasn’t groth 😎. Drank it by the apartment jacuzzi.

Great Sauvignon Blanc fruity with smooth not tart finish held up great with seasoned fish.

Great SB for an al fresco lunch. Paired nicely with a kimchi pork burger.
