Gueuzerie Tilquin
Oude Gueuze Tilquin à L'Ancienne Belgian Lambic Ale

This is the 2011/2012 blend.
Sour peach/apricot, old oak, musty cellar, saline honey. A solid brewer which we've enjoyed numerous times, never disappointed. 6.0% ABV

01/08/14 bottling. Damn this year is good. Floral, Pithy citrus and grapefruit, tannic grape skin, good Brett presence but no overwhelming funk.

Invigorating aroma of lemongrass, orange, oak barrels, honey, apricots, and wild crazy beasties. Delicate lemon-peel bitterness lingers in aftertaste, dry as California farms. Sprightly carbonation creates silky mouthfeel. World class gueuze, with all elements in proportion.
