Lighter garnet color, nose with a touch of fruit and a hint of wet earth. On the lighter side of Pinot, smooth, fruit up front, light tannins and mild acidity. Some strawberry notes but also blackberries and dark plum. A touch of leather- Pretty good if you’re looking for a light red.

Exactly as the label describes black cherry {comma} red plums allspice. Personally not liking the allspice character.

Feb 7th, 2021Had their Chardonnay and loved it. This was good but not as distinctive as I’ve come to expect from the Santa Lucia Hoghlands area. Felt a bit more like an Oregon Pinot.

Perfect Pinot for me. Nicely balanced and smooth. Finishes with a firm grip of well rounded tannins.
