Finger Lake-in' Good (insert groan/head slap here). Fresh raspberry, red plum and only a hint of the pyrazines that can run amok in underripe Cab Franc. Thanks to @Christopher Bates for the care package!

Aromatics strikingly similar to a Loire Cabernet Franc: jalapeños, violets (intermingled with some lilacs) and a touch savory with a beautiful core of dark fruit and a significant mineral character to boot. Where it diverges from the Old World oddly enough is on it's leaner palate and less tannic finish. I'm always impressed by these wines.
