Another entrant in the burgeoning So Cal winemaking scene. Met Dusty Herrmann and the York brothers when they were picking Mission and Grenache in the Bob Munoa vineyard last fall. This one is from the high desert of Antelope Valley, and is an interesting and fun field blend of Alicante Bouchet, Chardonnay, Muscat, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Viognier and Zin. Dark Rosé color, beautifully expressive nose, and light on its feet at 13.15%. Only had a small taste, but enjoyed it enough to order two bottles, along with their Mission, Alicante Bouschet Rosé and Amber Muscat. Certainly an interesting new project!
