Koor Dry Red Areni Serine Blend

This stuff is the bomb. A blend of Areni and the more tannic Sireni, this beauty has a nice presence on the nose; good structure, a nice medium bodied mouthfeel with a nice burst of smacking juice, is nicely acidic and everything feels right. A nice, long finish too.

Very sour and tannic. A bit of a shock initially but the wine wins you over with time. I'm guessing that more decanting would've helped, too. Fine wine overall, though there are other Armenian wines that I like better.
